About Alzano Incanta

Throughout the year, Alzano Incanta accompanies visitors in discovering the artistic and cultural heritage of Alzano Lombardo, in the province of Bergamo. Promoted by the Giusi Pesenti Calvi Foundation, the project offers guided tours of the Basilica and the San Martino Museum of Sacred Art, openings of the Foundation's house-museum, and paths designed for young people, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan. A widespread cultural cycle that enhances the treasures of the territory through the eyes of specially trained young guides.

A year of culture in Alzano

Alzano Incanta is the territorial promotion project of the Giusi Pesenti Calvi Foundation, which accompanies residents and visitors throughout the year to discover the heritage of Alzano Lombardo, in Val Seriana (province of Bergamo). Launched in 2025, it continues with an expanded program that intertwines art, history, and youth training.

A sacred heritage

The "A sacred heritage" section offers guided tours of the Basilica of San Martino and its Museum of Sacred Art, every last Sunday of the month starting from January 25th, as well as visits to churches in the area. The tours are led by young graduates trained by the San Martino Museum, with the aim of transmitting knowledge between generations.

Visit the Belvedì and young protagonists

The "Visit the Belvedì" section opens the house-museum, which is the Foundation's headquarters, to the public, while a specific component involves young people, with the participation of students from the Polytechnic University of Milan and young people from the Alzano Lombardo Youth Project, accompanied by professional educators.

A heritage to experience

Alzano Incanta is an invitation to rediscover the artistic richness of Alzano Lombardo, starting with its Baroque Basilica, with an inclusive approach focused on training. Tours in the "A sacred heritage" section are free for Alzano residents.
