A village festival blending taste and music in Barengo

The Piedmontese Dinner + Shary Band is a lively community event hosted in the small town of Barengo, in the Province of Novara. Organized by the Pro Loco Barengo, the evening turns Piazza Travaglini into a bustling open-air meeting point where traditional flavors meet the joy of a classic village festival.

The flavors of Piedmontese tradition

The heart of the evening is the traditional dinner, served under a large heated marquee with long communal tables, alongside open seating in the square. The menu is a tribute to authentic Piedmontese cuisine, featuring iconic local dishes:

• Appetizers including local cured meats and cheeses, Russian salad, and veal loin with tuna sauce
• Ravioli del plin with roast meat sauce, one of Piedmont's most beloved stuffed pastas
• Braised beef in red wine with roasted potatoes
• Bunet, the classic Piedmontese cocoa and amaretto pudding
• Water and coffee included

A dedicated children's menu is available, featuring tomato pasta, breaded cutlet with fries, and ice cream.

The Shary Band show

After dinner, the square lights up with the energy of the Shary Band, one of the most renowned disco tribute acts in Italy. With elaborate choreography, sparkling costumes, and the greatest dance hits, the band turns the Barengo evening into a true dance party. The night kicks off with a DJ set by DJ Gallahrdo, providing the soundtrack for the start of the food and bar service.
