Pergine Beer Fest: The Beer Festival of the Arezzo Valdarno

During the warm days of June, the Pergine Gardens transform into the headquarters for beer and good company. The Pergine Beer Fest, also known as the Festa della Birra, is one of the most anticipated summer events in Pergine Valdarno, a village in the municipality of Laterina Pergine Valdarno, in the province of Arezzo, Tuscany. For three days, the village fills with people, music, and the aroma of roast pork knuckle: a genuine local festival where Tuscan culinary tradition meets the carefree atmosphere of a summer fair.

Beer, Pork Knuckle, and Specialties from Across Europe

The heart of the event is, naturally, the beer, served at stands set up in the gardens alongside local culinary specialties. The signature dish is roast pork knuckle, accompanied by sandwiches and classic festival favorites. One of the unique features of the Pergine Beer Fest is the cultural village, animated by European delegations, which brings flavors from beyond the Alps to the Valdarno, such as Czech-style beer and other international specialties, in a festive exchange of brewing cultures and traditions.

Live Music, DJ Sets, and Tournaments

The evenings are marked by live concerts and DJ sets that keep the crowd dancing late into the night. Alongside the music, there are plenty of convivial and popular moments, such as the briscola tournament and the "Aperipergine" spread-out aperitif, which turns the festival into a large outdoor gathering from the early evening hours.
