A Ride Between Sport and Solidarity

Pedala con i Campioni is the non-competitive cycling tour that every year, in spring, enlivens Azzio, a municipality in the upper Varese area, in the province of Varese. The event, now in its 25th edition, combines the passion for cycling with a strong charitable purpose, in an atmosphere of celebration and sharing.

Routes for Every Level

The event offers various routes with free departure, designed for both experienced cyclists and those who ride for pleasure:

• randonnée routes of different lengths (25, 52, and 81 km)
• a gravel route of approximately 51 km

The itineraries traverse the landscapes of the Verbano valleys, through hills, woods, and glimpses of the lakes in the province of Varese.

Charity and Past Champions

The charitable heart of the event is the support for Polha Varese, an association dedicated to Paralympic sports: the funds raised are donated to charity. The event also features the presence of former professional cyclists, who ride alongside enthusiasts, making the day special.

A Local Event

Pedala con i Campioni is organized by the Società Ciclistica Orinese with the Pro Loco of Azzio, the Sestero group, and the support of local entities and the Panathlon Club Varese. An event that enhances the Verbano territory and promotes the values of sport, inclusion, and solidarity.
