The patron saint's feast of Alte Ceccato
The Patronal Feast of Saint Paul is the main religious and popular event in Alte Ceccato, a hamlet of Montecchio Maggiore in the province of Vicenza. It is celebrated at the end of June, around the feast of Saints Peter and Paul (June 29th), and lasts for several days in Piazza San Paolo.
Faith and procession
The spiritual heart of the feast are the religious celebrations, with a solemn Mass and the procession that carries the statue of Saint Paul through the streets of the hamlet. It is a moment of devotion deeply felt by the parish community.
Food stalls, dancing, and fun
Alongside the religious dimension, the feast offers a food stall with home-style specialties, dancing evenings with orchestras, shows, entertainment for families, and music from the '80s and '90s. There is also a missionary market, a charity fishing game, and a lottery, which support the parish's activities.

Organized by the Parish of San Paolo Alte with the patronage of the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore and the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Alte Montecchio, the Patronal Feast of Saint Paul represents a moment of aggregation that brings together the community of Alte Ceccato and its surroundings.

The 2026 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Paul will liven up Piazza San Paolo in Alte Ceccato at the end of June. Between faith, gastronomy, and dancing, the feast combines the patron saint's procession with evenings of entertainment, organized by the Parish of San Paolo Alte.
