Saint George the Martyr, patron saint of Tavenna

On April 23rd, the village of Tavenna, in the Province of Campobasso, dedicates its most important feast to Saint George the Martyr, the community's patron saint. The anniversary combines the religious and popular dimensions in a day that, for generations, has brought the entire village together around devotion to the knight saint.
