Saint Peter, the Patron Saint of Schio
Every year, on June 29th, Schio celebrates its patron saint, Saint Peter, with a grand festival that enlivens the historic center for a long weekend. It is one of the most significant events for the city in the Alto Vicentino region, in the province of Vicenza, blending devotion, culture, and conviviality.
Three Days of Celebration
The typical program spans three days of concerts, art exhibitions, urban picnics, and dinners under the stars. It usually begins with a concert in Piazza Alessandro Rossi with a DJ set, while the festival day itself is marked by Holy Mass, cultural initiatives, and the grand fireworks display from the Tajara del Castello, the most anticipated moment, around 11 PM.

- 8:00 AM — 'Svejève, San Piero ne ciama' from the cathedral pronaos
- 10:30 AM — Inauguration of the traditional Sareo artists' group exhibition on Via Pasubio
- 11:00 AM — Celebration of Holy Mass
- 7:00 PM — In Piazza Rossi, music and dancing with Positiva Rockabilly Gang and SiliconKafeClub; dinner under the stars at Palazzo Boschetti
- 9:00 PM — At the Fabbrica Alta park, Saint Peter's concert with the Città di Schio band
- 9:30 PM — In Piazza Rossi, DJ set with Payano
- 11:00 PM — Grand fireworks display from the Tajara del Castello
