The Carnival of a Community
The Onara Carnival is the Carnival festival of the hamlet of Onara, in the municipality of Tombolo (province of Padua). With a long tradition – over half a century of editions – it is organized by Pro Loco Onara and represents one of the most cherished events in the town's winter calendar.
The Parade of Allegorical Floats
The heart of the festival is the parade of allegorical floats and masked groups, which takes place on a Sunday in February along the streets of Onara. The floats, the result of volunteers' work, parade alongside masks and costumed figures in a colorful procession that draws families and enthusiasts from all over the area, in the best tradition of Venetian village carnivals.

Promoted by Pro Loco Onara (based in Via Chiesa), the Onara Carnival is a community festival that keeps local popular traditions alive.
