About Olivum
The Green Gold of Garda
Olivum is the festival dedicated to Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil, an identity product of the hills surrounding the lake. The event takes place in Bardolino (province of Verona, Veneto) on the Lungomare Cornicello and in Piazza del Porto, and alongside the famous Palio del Chiaretto, it tells the story of the agri-food excellences of this side of Garda.
Tastings and International Competition
The heart of the event are the producers' stands, direct sales, and guided tastings "A Journey to Discover the Authentic Taste of Garda". The highlight is the awarding of the AIPO d'Argento International Competition, one of the most prestigious competitions dedicated to extra virgin olive oil.
Among Olive Trees and Churches
The program includes guided walks among the olive groves with Garda DOP Oil tasting and visits to the churches of Cisano and Bardolino, as well as moments of acoustic music on the lakefront. The event, organized by the Fondazione Bardolino TOP with the Garda DOP Protection Consortium and AIPO (Interregional Association of Olive Growers), was selected among the events of the National Day of Made in Italy.
Olivum — edition 2026
The 2nd edition of Olivum, from April 24 to 26, 2026, confirmed the festival of Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil as one of the spring events on the lake. Inauguration on Friday afternoon in Piazza del Porto, stands open until the evening with tastings, direct sales, and local specialties. The event was selected among the events of the National Day of Made in Italy 2026.

Friday, April 24
- 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM — Opening of exhibition stands: tastings, direct sales, and local specialties
- 5:00 PM — In the Town Hall, awarding of the 23rd "AIPO d'Argento" Oil International Competition
- 6:15 PM — Ribbon cutting in Piazza del Porto with authorities
- 6:30 PM — Live music on the lakefront with the acoustic duo Max and Monkey "Sti Cats"
Saturday, April 25
- 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM — Exhibition and gastronomic area
- Guided walk of about 6 km through the countryside with tasting of Garda DOP Oil
Sunday, April 26
- 10:00 AM — Guided tour of the churches of Cisano and Bardolino, meeting at the Pieve di Cisano with final oil tasting
- 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM — In Piazza del Porto, two guided tasting sessions "A Journey to Discover the Authentic Taste of Garda"
- 5:00 PM — Closing with the acoustic pop concert by ElibibÃ

How to get there
Bardolino is reachable by car from the A4 motorway (Affi or Peschiera del Garda exits) and by train with a bus connection from the Peschiera del Garda or Verona Porta Nuova stations.
