A city-wide celebration in the heart of Novi Ligure

The Novi Ligure Music Festival is the annual event that, every June 21st, brings live music to the streets and squares of the historic center to mark the summer solstice. Promoted by the Municipality of Novi Ligure with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria and in collaboration with the Comitato Sport in Novi, the event is part of the national and international Music Festival circuit, which originated in France and is now celebrated across Europe.

For this town in the province of Alessandria, in the heart of lower Piedmont, this has become a well-established tradition: with the 2026 edition, Novi Ligure marks its fourth consecutive participation in the circuit, confirming its place as a permanent fixture in the city's summer calendar.

Squares and streets as stages

The beauty of the Music Festival lies in its widespread nature: rather than a single stage, multiple locations animate the historic center simultaneously. In Novi Ligure, the main hubs are the Portici Nuovi, Corso Marenco, and above all Piazza Dellepiane, which hosts the evening's highlights. The audience moves from one square to another, following different musical genres in a journey that weaves together Latin American dance, country and folk music, dance hits, and DJ sets.

A program for all ages

The artistic lineup intentionally spans various styles and generations: from dance schools to live bands, and DJ sets that keep the night going. Over the years, the evening has featured shows designed for families and children alongside events aimed at a younger audience of club music fans, with high-profile guests capable of turning the squares into massive dance floors under the stars.
