The Carnival of Noventa di Piave
Noventa in Maschera is the Carnival festival of Noventa di Piave (province of Venice, Veneto) and is part of the calendar of the Metropolitan City of Venice's Metropolitan Carnival. The event is organized by Pro Loco Noventa di Piave together with the Neighborhood Associations and the Youth Municipal Council.
Allegorical floats and masks in the square
The heart of the festival is the parade of allegorical floats and walking groups along the town's streets. In Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, gazebos distribute typical Carnival food and sweets, offered by the Pro Loco and associations, while the face painting station remains active throughout the event.
A festival involving schools
Among the most cherished events is the selection and awarding of masks for beauty, originality, and charm, partly entrusted to the Youth Municipal Council. Furthermore, every year, the Comprehensive Institute organizes a drawing contest with the Municipal Administration and the Pro Loco to choose the icon for the edition. Noventa in Maschera is thus an intergenerational festival, which combines Venetian Carnival tradition with community participation.

The 2026 edition of Noventa in Maschera is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st (with a rain date on Saturday, February 28th), as part of the Venetian metropolitan Carnival. The festival enlivens the center of Noventa di Piave with the parade, Carnival sweets, and activities for children, organized by the Pro Loco with the Neighborhood Associations and the Youth Municipal Council.

- 2:30 PM–6:00 PM — Children's Carnival at the oratory of the parish of San Mauro Martire, organized by APS Noi Circolo San Luigi

How to get there
Noventa di Piave is located in the province of Venice, in the Basso Piave area. It can be reached by car from the Noventa di Piave exit of the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway. The parade runs through the streets of the town center.
Admission
Free event and open to all. The parade starts at 2:30 PM and the event concludes at 6:30 PM.
