About Notte BLU

Notte BLU is the highlight of the summer in Trevignano Romano, on the shores of Lake Bracciano. This widespread event brings the lakefront, squares, and alleys of the village to life from sunset until late at night, featuring around twenty musical groups, DJ sets, dance performances, photography exhibitions, an artisan market, mini boat cruises, and a spectacular fireworks display over the water. A free event that draws thousands of people every year to the heart of the Trevignano Summer Fest.

A blue night on Lake Bracciano

Every summer, on the first weekend of August, Trevignano Romano transforms into a massive open-air stage for Notte BLU, the most anticipated event of the season on the shores of Lake Bracciano. From 6:00 PM until late at night, the lakeside village in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital lights up with music, lights, and colors: concerts, DJ sets, dance choreographies, photography exhibits, and an artisan market simultaneously animate the lakefront and the historic center, attracting thousands of visitors from Rome and across the Lazio region.

A widespread festival throughout the town

The formula behind the success of Notte BLU is that of a widespread event: not just one stage, but many locations scattered across Viale Garibaldi, Via della Rena, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, and the Piazzale del Molo, reaching up to the narrow streets of the historic center at the foot of the Rocca. Strolling from one square to another, you will encounter local bands, musical groups of all genres, dance performances, and DJ sets, while shops remain open for a special evening of shopping under the stars. Local producers' stands accompany the festivities with the typical flavors of the area.

Mini cruises and fireworks over the lake

Among the most evocative experiences of the evening are the mini boat cruises on Lake Bracciano, departing from the Piazzale del Molo starting at 9:00 PM, featuring live music and DJ sets on board: a unique way to admire the illuminated village from the water. However, the most anticipated moment remains the fireworks display that, late in the evening, sets the lake ablaze with reflections before thousands of spectators gathered along the shore—the iconic image that gave the event its name.

The heart of the Trevignano Summer Fest

Notte BLU is the flagship event of the Trevignano Summer Fest, the summer program promoted by the Municipality of Trevignano Romano and the local tourist board, which brings concerts, film festivals at the Arena Palma, food festivals, and family shows to the lake from June to September. Reaching its 11th edition in 2026, Notte BLU has established itself as one of the most beloved summer appointments in the northern province of Rome, successfully blending the tourist appeal of the village—awarded the Blue Flag—with the tradition of popular festivities.

A village to discover

The evening is also the perfect opportunity to discover Trevignano Romano, one of the gems of Lazio: its medieval historic center dominated by the ruins of the Rocca Orsini, one of the most beautiful lakefronts in Italy, the Civic Etruscan-Roman Museum, and the nearby Regional Natural Reserve of Lake Bracciano and Martignano. Admission to Notte BLU is free: just let the music guide you.
