About White Night Zola

One evening a year, the center of Zola Predosa, on the outskirts of Bologna, transforms into a large open-air festival: the Notte Bianca (White Night). Shops open late, music stages, street food, dancing and performances animate streets and squares closed to traffic, in a free event that focuses on local commerce and community life. An evening designed for families and those who love to experience the town, between evening shopping, good food and non-stop entertainment.

A night of celebration for all of Zola

The Notte Bianca of Zola Predosa is one of the most anticipated events of early summer in the Municipality of Zola Predosa, in the Province of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna. For one evening, the city center lights up: the main streets are closed to traffic and fill with music, the aromas of street food, stalls, and people strolling until late at night. It is the great festival of local commerce, created to promote the town's shops and community life, and has grown over the years to become a true popular night of celebration.

What to expect

The heart of the event is the coexistence of evening shopping and live entertainment. Shops remain open beyond their usual hours, often with animated window displays and special offers, while along the streets, points of interest multiply:

  • Music stages and spots distributed in various corners of the center, with concerts and performances taking place throughout the evening.
  • Street food and food stalls, featuring local Emilian specialties and grab-and-go options.
  • Dance performances by local schools and entertainment for all ages.
  • Markets and outdoor commercial activities, with artisans and exhibitors.
  • Areas for children and families, making the White Night an event suitable for all ages.

A festival of the territory

The initiative is promoted by the merchants of Zola Predosa together with Confcommermercio Ascom Bologna and with the patronage of the Municipality, in line with the White Nights and Street Festivals that animate Bologna and its province at the beginning of June. More than just an evening of shopping, it is an opportunity to gather in the square, rediscover the town, and celebrate the bond between local businesses and the people who live there. Admission is free, and the informal atmosphere invites you to wander through the streets at your leisure, from sunset until late at night.

White Night Zola — edition 2026

The fifteenth edition of the Notte Bianca of Zola Predosa took place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, animating the city center until late at night. An evening dedicated to local commerce and the life of the territory, with shops open, live music, street food, performances, and activities for the whole family, with free admission.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Zola Predosa celebrated the 15th edition of its White Night, the event that transforms the center into a large open-air festival every early summer. From 7:00 PM until late at night, the streets and squares closed to traffic hosted open shops, food stalls, street food stands, and live music distributed in various corners of the town.

As tradition dictates, the evening focused on local commerce, with local businesses taking center stage alongside dance performances, children's entertainment, and shows. Promoted by local merchants with Confcommercio Ascom Bologna and under the patronage of the Municipality, the White Night confirmed itself as one of the most attended events of the summer in the Province of Bologna.
