The New Year's Party is the celebration with which the municipality of Selva di Val Gardena/Wolkenstein in Gröden, in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (Trentino-Alto Adige), welcomes the new year. On New Year's Eve, the town center gathers in Piazza Nives for an open-air party that combines music, dancing, and the traditional midnight toast under the peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Music and atmosphere

From 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, the square becomes a large dance floor. The console is entrusted to DJ Kevin Brook & NDPC, who guides the crowd from the countdown into the early hours of the new year with a mix of club hits and sing-along favorites. The beverage service is managed by the Hockey Club Gherdeina, the local sports club, which sets up stalls in the square: a great way to support local sports and warm up the evening with mulled wine and drinks.
