Three days of culture, wellness, music, and nature at Villa Mossa
The Natural-mente Festival – Summer Solstice is a new event debuting in 2026 in Occhieppo Superiore, a small town in the Province of Biella, in the heart of Piedmont. Organized by the Pro Loco of Occhieppo Superiore with municipal patronage, the festival takes place in the evocative setting of Villa Mossa, a historic residence with a portico and inner gardens that serves as the backdrop for three days of widespread events.
The theme chosen for this first edition is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, celebrated as a moment of renewal and connection with the rhythms of nature. The program weaves together culture, wellness, music, and spirituality in a journey designed for all ages, with mostly free activities immersed in the greenery of the Villa Mossa park.
The event opens on Friday, June 19 with an evening concert featuring Emiliano Toso, a molecular biologist and composer known for his piano music tuned to 432 Hz, a frequency considered to be particularly in tune with the body and nature.
Saturday, June 20 is the busiest day: it begins in the morning with yoga in the park, followed by workshops and meetings. The afternoon features theatrical storytelling by Angela Elina Nanna and a harp concert with Aramaic chants by Melissa Buccella. In the evening, the traditional white dinner in the courtyard of Villa Mossa, the solstice ceremony, and stargazing with the telescopes of the Unione Biellese Astrofili.
Sunday, June 21, the day of the solstice, continues with workshops, experiential meetings, sacred dances, and a healing music concert, concluding with a meditation in the late afternoon.
Throughout the festival, cross-cutting activities are planned: the creation of a collective mandala, body painting and creative makeup, stalls from holistic practitioners and local producers, as well as street food offerings. The event collaborates with local entities such as the Giardino di Phe, the Civic Library of Occhieppo Superiore, the Unione Biellese Astrofili, and the DBN Association.
Supported by the Culturhub grant from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, the Natural-mente Festival aims to be a new summer landmark for the Biella territory, capable of combining the enhancement of a historic home like Villa Mossa with a cultural and wellness proposal open to the community.
