Natale nel Borgo, the festival that lights up the historic center of Pulsano

Natale nel Borgo is the Christmas event that brings holiday magic to the narrow streets of the historic center of Pulsano, a town on the Ionian coast in the province of Taranto, in the heart of Puglia. Launched in December 2025, the festival is designed to bring the entire community together around Christmas traditions, enlivening the old town with lights, music, and the typical scents of the season.

The De Falconibus Castle and Santa's House

The heart of the event is the evocative De Falconibus Castle, the ancient fortress that dominates the historic center and is transformed for the occasion into Santa's House. Here, little ones can meet Santa Claus, deliver their letters, and enjoy an immersive experience amidst decorations, lights, and fairy-tale atmospheres. All around, Piazza Castello becomes an enchanted place full of colors, scenic displays, and light installations.

Markets, gastronomy, and street performers

Along the square and the streets of the village, Christmas markets come to life with stalls featuring handicrafts, gift ideas, and local products. There is no shortage of gourmet delights, including specialties and traditional Apulian sweets, alongside a rich entertainment program: street performers, shows, live music, and many activities dedicated to children animate every day of the event.

A free community festival

The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Pulsano together with the Pulsano d'Amare Association, who have joined forces to offer families, children, and visitors an experience filled with emotion, tradition, and fun. Admission is completely free, and the first edition, spread over several days in December, attracted hundreds of families who filled the historic center.

Located just a few kilometers from the famous beaches of the Ionian coast of Taranto, the Municipality of Pulsano preserves a compact and charming historic center, dominated by the De Falconibus Castle.
