"Natale a Legnago" is the Christmas calendar that the Municipality of Legnago offers every year in the historic center, with Piazza Garibaldi as the heart of the celebration. For about a month, from the beginning of December until January 6th, the city in the Basso Veronese comes alive with lights, markets, concerts, shows, and initiatives for families.
Legnago On Ice and the markets
The main attraction is the ice skating rink Legnago On Ice, set up in Piazza Garibaldi, alongside the Christmas market, food stalls, and local product stands. The program includes the tree lighting, the arrival of Santa Claus, nativity scene exhibitions created by schools, magic and entertainment shows, choir and band concerts, puppet theater, and tastings.
From the holidays to Befana
The events involve the historic center and the squares of Legnago (province of Verona) throughout the Christmas period, until the traditional Epiphany celebration on January 6th, with Befana as the protagonist of the final days of the festivities.

The 2026 edition of Natale a Legnago will again feature the ice rink in Piazza Garibaldi, the market, and a lineup of concerts, shows, and nativity scene exhibitions in the historic center. The detailed schedule will be published by the Municipality in the weeks preceding Advent.

How to get there
Legnago is reachable from the SR434 Transpolesana and from the train station on the Verona-Rovigo line. Christmas activities are concentrated in Piazza Garibaldi and the historic center.
Ice rink
The "Legnago On Ice" rink in Piazza Garibaldi requires paid admission with skate rental. Market and shows in the square are free admission.
