The Music Festival — The Voice of Places is the event that, every June 21st, celebrates the summer solstice by bringing music to streets and squares across Europe. In Vinci, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Florence in Tuscany, the event has reached its 11th local edition (the 32nd at the Italian national level) and takes place in the open-air amphitheater of the Parco dei Mille, in the Spicchio-Sovigliana district.

The 2026 Program: "Ingenuity and Enchantment"

The 2026 edition, titled "Ingenuity and Enchantment", takes place on Sunday, June 21st, starting at 9:00 PM and continues until late in the evening. The protagonists are the various bands from the "Band in progress" workshop of the CFCM (Center for Musical Training and Culture) of Sovigliana: groups composed of musicians and students from the local music school who take turns on stage, performing a repertoire of songs dedicated to the theme of ingenuity, a direct tribute to the famous local citizen Leonardo da Vinci, who was born in this very corner of Tuscany.

A Community Celebration

The event stems from the collaboration between the Municipality of Vinci and the CFCM of Sovigliana, with the kind hospitality of the Sagra della Chiocciola (Snail Festival) of Spicchio, the historic food festival that enlivens the Parco dei Mille during the same weeks in June. The Music Festival thus becomes part of the rich calendar of the "Summer of Ingenuity", the festival that brings dozens of events to Vinci and its surrounding areas from June to September.
