Five evenings of celebration in the hamlet of Motta
Every early summer, the hamlet of Motta, part of the Municipality of Costabissara in the province of Vicenza, experiences its most joyful days with the Motta Festival. For five evenings, the community gathers around the food stand and the dance floor, in a celebration that keeps the tradition of Venetian hamlet festivals alive.
The food stand opens every evening at 6:30 PM with typical local cuisine dishes. The evenings continue with ballroom dancing orchestras, baby dance for the little ones, a charity raffle, and a funfair. On Sundays, the festival opens with Holy Mass in the morning and children's games in the afternoon.
The festival is organized by the Motta community with the support of the Pro Loco and local associations. It is a moment of social gathering that unites generations and introduces the hamlet to visitors from the Vicenza area.
The 2026 edition of the Motta Festival will take place in early July in the hamlet of Motta di Costabissara, with five evenings of food, music, and fun. The exact dates have not yet been published.
