The Berici Hills Truffle Celebrated
The Lumignano Truffle Festival is the autumn celebration dedicated to one of the lesser-known but precious excellences of the Berici area: the truffle of the Berici Hills. It takes place in Lumignano, a hamlet in the municipality of Longare, in the province of Vicenza, the same village that hosts the renowned Sagra dei Bisi (Bean Festival) in spring.

The absolute star is the truffle, featured in numerous preparations at the food stand alongside dishes from Venetian cuisine. The festival is an opportunity to discover the truffle-growing potential of the Berici Hills, a hilly area rich in woods and ideal environments for the growth of this prized forest product.

Lumignano is famous for its rocky cliffs, a destination for climbers, and for the masiere, the characteristic cultivated terraces at the foot of the cliffs. In this evocative setting, the Truffle Festival offers, every autumn, a moment of celebration and promotion of local flavours, in the heart of the Vicenza Berici Hills.
Truffle Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Lumignano Truffle Festival is announced for October 2026 by the sagradilumignano.it committee. The festival, dedicated to the prized truffle of the Berici Hills, will once again liven up the village of Lumignano, a hamlet of Longare in the province of Vicenza, with a food stand focused on truffles and traditional Venetian dishes. How to get there
Lumignano di Longare is located in the Berici Hills, south of Vicenza. From the A4 motorway, take the Vicenza Est exit, then follow the SP247 Riviera Berica towards Longare-Lumignano.
