Forty years of passion on two wheels
The Motoraduno Internazionale Giro dell'Umbria is one of the longest-running and most beloved motorcycle events in Italy. Organized by the Moto Club Jarno Saarinen, it is based in Petrignano di Assisi, a hamlet of the Municipality of Assisi (Province of Perugia), where the park named after the legendary Finnish rider is located.
Guided tours in the heart of Umbria
For a week, hundreds of motorcyclists from all over Europe travel together on the most beautiful roads of Umbria, with stops in the villages, sanctuaries, wineries, and breweries of the region. It is not a speed race, but a motorcycle tourism rally: the goal is to discover the territory, its history, and its gastronomy on your motorcycle. For the first time, the event is included in the calendar of the World Motorcycle Tourism Championship – Touring World Challenge FIM.
The evenings of Petrignano Summer Night
Every evening, Parco Jarno Saarinen comes alive with the Petrignano Summer Night: food stalls with typical Umbrian cuisine, live music, and festive moments open not only to participants but also to the local public. The rally thus becomes a village festival capable of attracting thousands of visitors, fostering conviviality and the discovery of Umbria.
Giro dell'Umbria — edition 2026
The 44th edition of the Giro dell'Umbria brings hundreds of motorcyclists from all over Europe to Petrignano di Assisi. The rally runs from August 10 to 15, 2026, based at Parco Jarno Saarinen, and is included for the first time in the calendar of the FIM World Motorcycle Tourism Championship. The evenings of Petrignano Summer Night accompany the event from August 9 to 16, with typical Umbrian cuisine and live music.

Cheese-throwing competition, followed by the 'Orange Evening' with markets, food, and shows.

Thursday, August 14
Visit to Giano dell'Umbria, Cantine Terre de la Custodia, and Mastri Birrai Umbri.
Friday, August 15
Closing with the 'Motorcycle Parade' and awards for Italian participants.
August 9-16 — Petrignano Summer Night
Every evening at Parco Jarno Saarinen: tastings of Umbrian specialties and live music.

How to get there
Petrignano di Assisi (PG) is located along the road connecting Assisi to Perugia. By car: SS75 and Perugia-Bettolle link, Ospedalicchio/Petrignano exit. Parco Jarno Saarinen is easily accessible and has ample space.
Participation
Registration for the rally is reserved for motorcyclists according to the regulations of the Moto Club Jarno Saarinen. The evenings of Petrignano Summer Night are open to the public.
