The celebration of the land

The Agriculture Fair is one of the events that Pro Loco Monvalle dedicates to the area's farming roots. It takes place in early September in Monvalle, a municipality on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore in the province of Varese, and is an opportunity to rediscover the products and flavors of local agriculture.

Market exhibition and farmer's menu

The heart of the fair is the market exhibition of local agricultural products, set up at the Oratory in Via XXV Aprile. Alongside the producers' stalls, the food stand offers the farmer's menu, made up of simple dishes tied to the rural tradition of the Verbano area. For children and families, there are games for everyone, in a village festival atmosphere that makes the event suitable for all ages.

A community event

Like the other events in the Pro Loco Monvalle calendar, the Agriculture Fair is also born from the work of local volunteers and is designed to enhance local identity. For those visiting Lake Maggiore in early autumn, it is an authentic way to learn about the agricultural traditions of a small Lombard municipality.
