The Monthly Market (known as Monatsmarkt in German) is a staple of the calendar in Villabassa/Niederdorf, a historic resort town in the Puster Valley, in the heart of South Tyrol. On the first Saturday of every month, market stalls fill the central Piazza Von Kurz, a perfect setting thanks to its elegant historic buildings and the colorful facades typical of South Tyrolean architecture.
