The Monferr'Autore Festival

The Monferr'Autore Festival is a traveling cultural series that tours the towns of the Alessandria province, in the heart of Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage region. The event weaves together singer-songwriter music, rock, and folk, alongside theater, cinema, smart comedy, and literature, using a format that alternates concerts with live interviews, in a style reminiscent of live journalism.

The festival is directed by journalist and cultural promoter Enrico Deregibus, former director of the PeM festival, with organizational management by AccademiaMonferrato Musica&Danza. The name Monferr'Autore pays homage to a previous festival experience active between 2005 and 2007: the 2026 edition marks the rebirth of the project, which runs from April to July across numerous municipalities.

The Balzola Stop

On July 2, 2026, at 9:00 PM, the festival arrives in Balzola, in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, featuring Banda Osiris and their show «Le note dolenti». Banda Osiris, a legendary musical-comedy quartet, blends live music, irony, and theater in an evening designed for all audiences. Balzola is one of the supporting municipalities of the festival and hosts this free-admission event.
