The social inclusion festival that breaks down barriers between the harbor, squares, and cloisters
Molfetta All Inclusive is the social inclusion festival that brings the center of Molfetta to life every summer on the Adriatic coast in the province of Bari (Puglia). Launched in 2024 and promoted by the volunteer organization Contasudinoi, the festival is built on a simple yet powerful idea: inclusion is not a subject reserved for a few, but something that touches everyone's life. For three days, the city's harbor, squares, and cloisters are transformed into truly accessible spaces where sport, culture, education, entertainment, and public participation meet.
The heart of the event is the Inclusive Sports Village, set up at the Madonna dei Martiri square: soccer, basketball, volleyball, fencing, rugby, table tennis, and athletics become disciplines open to everyone, regardless of ability. On the water, the Molfetta Inclusive Sailing project takes inclusive sailing out to sea from the Seminario quay and Cala Sant'Andrea, featuring award ceremonies and personal testimonies. There is also plenty for the younger generations: Molfetta All Inclusive Kids brings the cloister of the Basilica Madonna dei Martiri to life every afternoon with entertainment, theater, and creative workshops designed to introduce the concept of inclusion to children.
The festival hosts talks, dialogues, and testimonies from athletes and key figures in the inclusion movement, with guests who have shared their stories of sport, travel, and resilience over the years. The event concludes with a major evening show in Piazza Municipio, the city's civic heart, which attracts a large and diverse audience. Each edition blends different mediums—sport, music, theater, comedy, and education—united by a single common thread: making the Molfetta community a place where no one is left behind.
Molfetta All Inclusive is a widespread event that highlights the iconic landmarks of this Apulian city: the harbor, the Seminario quay, the square and cloister of the Madonna dei Martiri, Cala Sant'Andrea, and Piazza Municipio. Admission to all activities is free, ensuring that participation is truly accessible to everyone. It is one of the most original experiences on the Bari province's summer calendar, capable of combining the civic value of solidarity with the joy of experiencing the city together.
The third edition of Molfetta All Inclusive was held from June 25 to 27, 2026, confirming the format of an event spread across the harbor, squares, and cloisters of Molfetta. Three days during which sport, culture, education, and entertainment highlighted inclusion as a daily practice rather than a niche topic.
The edition alternated between moments of public participation and symbolic events: the opening evening at Cala Sant'Andrea with inclusive sailing and the Molfetta Inclusive Sailing project awards, the Sports Village open to everyone, and the program for children. The president of Contasudinoi, Diletta Rosati, emphasized the emotion of seeing the squares full and participants sailing together, reiterating that inclusion concerns everyone.
Molfetta is located on the Adriatic coast in the province of Bari. By train, the Molfetta station is on the Adriatic line (frequent stops from Bari Centrale, about 25 minutes). By car, it can be reached via the SS16 Adriatica, Molfetta exit. The nearest airport is Bari-Palese Karol Wojtyła, about 25 km away.
All festival activities are free of charge.
The festival is designed to be fully accessible: activities take place in spaces made usable for people with various abilities, spanning the harbor, squares, and cloisters of the city center.
