The sustainability and wellness fair in the village of Agliè
Every spring, the village of Agliè, in the province of Turin, sets off on a journey with MiMuovo, a fair dedicated to sustainability, care, and wellness. The event stems from the evolution of the historic Spring Fair of Agliè, reinterpreted in recent years with a green focus for an audience increasingly attentive to the environment, quality of life, and the promotion of the local area. For the occasion, the historic center is entirely pedestrianized, becoming a large route to be explored on foot, from Piazza Castello to Piazza Poggionetto, along the village's ancient porticoes.
Agliè is one of the most evocative villages in the Canavese area, dominated by the monumental Ducal Castle, a Savoy residence included in the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1997. The town, a finalist for the Borgo dei Borghi award, retains an ancient charm made of porticoes, cobblestone streets, and green vistas: the ideal setting for a fair that focuses on slowness, nature, and the good life. MiMuovo is part of the broader Reciprocity Festival of the Three Canavese Lands, the network that unites the municipalities of Agliè, Castellamonte, and San Giorgio Canavese.
MiMuovo is not just a market: it is a day designed to rediscover the bond between people, food, and the environment. Between a tasting and a walk, a workshop for the little ones, and a zero-impact concert, the event tells the story of a different and more conscious way of experiencing the Canavese territory. It is the perfect opportunity to visit Agliè, its castle, and its porticoes, letting yourself be carried away by the slow rhythm of a village that has made sustainability its calling card.
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the village of Agliè hosted the edition of MiMuovo dedicated to the theme "Sustainability is Care." The historic center, completely pedestrianized, welcomed visitors from Piazza Castello to Piazza Poggionetto, along the village's ancient porticoes.
The heart of the day was the Market of Excellence and Care, with offerings related to wellness and quality of life. Among the events was the 2026 Royal Walk, featuring the inauguration of the Way of the Kings, a route accessible to families and children, and the educational activity "The Paths of the Woods – Explorers for a Day," a guided walk with experts to discover the biodiversity of the territory.
On the gastronomic front, the Masters of Taste from the International Association of Disciples of Auguste Escoffier served traditional dishes in Piazza Castello, with tables fully booked. Starting in the afternoon, live rock music by Lou Celha accompanied the festivities.
Agliè is located about 40 km from Turin, in the heart of the Canavese. By car: A5 Turin-Aosta motorway, Ivrea exit, then follow signs for Agliè (about half an hour from the city). By train: Agliè station on the Turin-Pont Canavese line (GTT service), or Ivrea station with a connecting bus.
The fair takes place over a single day, usually on a Sunday, from morning until late afternoon. Admission to the event is free. The historic center is pedestrianized: it is recommended to park in the areas outside the village.
Don't miss a visit to the Ducal Castle of Agliè and a stroll along the porticoes. For the royal walks, booking is recommended, and comfortable clothing is advised.
