About Millennium Expo

Twice a year, in spring and autumn, Rome's Capannelle Racecourse transforms into the largest classic car, motorcycle, and spare parts trade fair in Central and Southern Italy. Since 1999, Millennium Expo has brought together clubs, collectors, and exhibitors across indoor and outdoor areas, tree-lined avenues, and expansive green spaces, featuring thousands of rare finds: vintage cars, motorcycles, hard-to-find parts, scale models, memorabilia, and automobilia. An unmissable event for classic motor enthusiasts in the Capital.

The largest classic motor trade fair in Central and Southern Italy

There are places that, for a couple of days a year, become the absolute kingdom for motor enthusiasts. In Rome, that place is the Capannelle Racecourse, located on the historic Via Appia Nuova, where Millennium Expo has been held since 1999. It is the largest classic car, motorcycle, and spare parts trade fair in Central and Southern Italy. The event has successfully transformed a vast green area of the Capital into an uninterrupted circuit of stands, stalls, and clubs, where you can find everything related to the world of historic vehicles.

An entire park dedicated to vintage two and four-wheelers

The event takes place in a park featuring indoor and outdoor areas, green zones, and paved walkways that host clubs, brand registries, and private exhibitors. The heart of the event is the large spare parts and accessories sector for classic cars and motorcycles, both new and usedโ€”often featuring pieces impossible to find elsewhere, highly sought after by collectors and restorers from all over Italy. Alongside the parts, you will find a world of vintage scale models, memorabilia, vintage advertising signs, books, magazines, clothing, and accessories for enthusiasts.

Strolling along the avenues, you can admire cars and motorcycles of every era and type, from the economy cars that shaped the history of Italian motoring to the most coveted sports cars, in a continuous dialogue between those selling, trading, and those simply there to watch and share memories.

Two editions every year: spring and autumn

One of the unique features of Millennium Expo is its biannual schedule: the event is held twice a year, with one edition in spring (April) and one in autumn (October). This regular rhythm has made it a fixed reference point in the calendar for enthusiasts not only from Rome and the Lazio region but from the entire Central and Southern area, with visitors and exhibitors traveling from outside the region to ensure they don't miss out.

Anniversaries and celebrated vehicles

Each edition dedicates space to the anniversaries of models that have marked automotive history. The themed exhibitions celebrate milestone birthdays of iconic cars, with gatherings and special displays that draw in clubs and owners, offering the public the chance to see specimens up close that are often difficult to encounter all in one place.

An event in the green heart of Rome

The setting at the Capannelle Racecourse, in the Municipality of Rome (Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Lazio), adds charm to the day: a spacious and comfortable environment, easily accessible, with parking and ample space that allows you to enjoy the event at a leisurely pace, between a walk through the stands and a break at the refreshment areas. It is also a perfect occasion for families and curious visitors who want to get closer to the world of automotive collecting.

Millennium Expo โ€” edition 2026

In 2026, Millennium Expo doubles up as per tradition: the 42nd edition was held on April 18-19, while the 43rd autumn edition is scheduled for October 17-18, 2026, at the Capannelle Racecourse. Two appointments with the largest classic car, motorcycle, and spare parts trade fair in Central and Southern Italy, featuring historic cars, motorcycles, hard-to-find parts, scale models, and memorabilia.

Millennium Expo 2026: two editions at Capannelle

As every year, in 2026 Millennium Expo offers its two appointments at the Capannelle Racecourse in Rome. The 42nd edition took place on April 18 and 19, 2026, while the 43rd edition in autumn is confirmed for October 17 and 18, 2026. On both dates, clubs, brand registries, and private exhibitors enliven the park's indoor and outdoor areas with historic cars and motorcycles, a vast sector of spare parts and accessories, scale models, automobilia, and memorabilia.

The spring edition celebrated some important anniversaries in the automotive world, including the 50th anniversary of the Volkswagen Golf GTI and the 30th anniversary of roadsters like the BMW Z3, Mercedes-Benz SLK, Porsche Boxster, and Jaguar XK8. The autumn edition will also feature themed exhibitions and gatherings dedicated to historic vehicles.
