MIGfest – Mesagne International Guitar Festival

A festival dedicated to the six strings

The MIGfest – Mesagne International Guitar Festival is the event that transforms the courtyard of the Norman-Swabian Castle of Mesagne into a stage entirely dedicated to the guitar and its virtuosos every summer. The festival, conceived and produced by A.P.S. Cabiria, has become a staple of the MesagnEstate summer calendar and represents one of the most refined musical appointments in the Municipality of Mesagne, the heart of the Province of Brindisi in Apulia.

The guitar in all its forms

What makes MIGfest a unique event is the breadth of its vision: throughout the evenings, the guitar is explored in every nuance, from the classical tradition to flamenco, from Paganini-style virtuosity to the tango influences of Astor Piazzolla, as well as singer-songwriter tracks and the folk soul of the Mediterranean. Each concert is designed as a short sonic journey, capable of engaging both dedicated enthusiasts and audiences discovering the instrument's potential for the first time.

Young talents and international performers

The artistic direction, entrusted to Maestro Antonio Molfetta, focuses decisively on promoting young talents alongside performers already established on the international scene. The organizational direction is managed by Anna Rita Pinto. The festival has always been held under the patronage of the Municipality of Mesagne, confirming the event's deep roots in the city's cultural fabric.

The charm of the castle

The setting is the evocative courtyard of the castle, a landmark monument of Mesagne, which offers a unique charm to the concerts with its intimate acoustics and summer night atmosphere. Free admission to all evenings makes MIGfest an opportunity open to everyone to experience great music in the Messapian historic center. The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced: the festival is traditionally held in July as part of the MesagnEstate program.
