When summer gives way to the colors of autumn, the town of Casamarciano, in the heart of the Nola area near Naples, lights up in orange. Mariland - The Pumpkin Patch is a large open-air theme park, spanning over five thousand square meters along the Via Nazionale delle Puglie, which every year transforms this corner of Campania into an enchanted universe dedicated to the most evocative season of the year.
Created as an initiative for families and children, the event is inspired by the famous American pumpkin patches, where visitors can stroll among thousands of autumn fruits, pick their own pumpkin, and immerse themselves in meticulously crafted settings. In just a few years, it has become one of the most beloved autumn destinations in the Naples area.
The park is an experiential journey designed primarily for children, but capable of engaging the entire family. Activities and themed areas from previous editions include:
More than just a theme park, Mariland is an educational project that combines play, creativity, and environmental awareness. Planting activities and tours on the cycle of nature introduce children to the agricultural world and sustainability, with a special focus on schools: during the week, the park welcomes school visits during school hours.
Opening is traditionally scheduled between late September and early November, accompanying families throughout the autumn season until Halloween. It is an event designed for children, families, and school groups looking for a day outdoors filled with nature and fun, just a few kilometers from Naples and the entire Vesuvius and Nola area.
At the moment, the organization has not yet published the official dates and program for the 2026 edition of Mariland - The Pumpkin Patch. As it is a recurring autumn event, which reached its third edition in 2025, a return of the park to Casamarciano in the autumn period is likely, but information will only be confirmed with the official announcement.
To find out dates, times, tickets, and the program as soon as they are available, it is best to check the official website marilandtufino.it and the park's social media channels.
The official dates and detailed program for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced. Based on previous editions, the park typically offers pumpkin picking, carving and painting workshops, a petting zoo, nature cycle tours, shows, a play area, and an autumn-themed food area.
