The great international tattoo fair in the heart of Piceno
In just a few years, the Marche Tattoo Convention has become the most important event dedicated to tattoo art in the Marche region. The venue is the Raffaello Pavilion of the Hotel Casale, in Colli del Tronto, a small town in the province of Ascoli Piceno overlooking the Tronto Valley, easily accessible from the Adriatic coast and the Piceno hinterland.
For three days, the pavilion transforms into a large open-air workshop where over 220 tattoo artists from around the world work live at their stands, alongside those who wish to get tattooed or simply observe the artist's work up close. It's a unique opportunity to discover styles, techniques, and trends ranging from realistic to traditional, from blackwork to chicano, from lettering to ornamental.
The Convention is not just about tattoos. The program is marked by the renowned afternoon Tattoo Contests, real challenges between artists divided by category and culminating in the prestigious Best in Show award. Alongside the competitions, the public can enjoy acrobatic performances, pole dance and aerial hoop shows, fire shows, arm wrestling competitions, itinerant music, and DJ sets.
Great space is also dedicated to the world of cosplay: the contest dedicated to characters from comics, anime, and video games is one of the most anticipated and colorful moments of the event. Outside the pavilion, the street food area with craft beers and the beer festival accompany the day until late at night.
Organized by Oriana Grandi Eventi, the Marche Tattoo Convention attracts thousands of visitors from all over Central Italy every year, confirming itself as one of the flagship events of spring in the Ascoli Piceno territory and the entire Marche region. The presence of special guests and internationally award-winning tattoo artists makes it an unmissable stop for industry enthusiasts.
The fourth edition of the Marche Tattoo Convention brought together over 220 international tattoo artists in Colli del Tronto, with a jury of masters such as Alex Bruz, Laura Egea, Raul de la O, Andrea Pellerone, Michela Bottin, Ruben Pascual, and the award-winning brothers Giovanni and Giordano Trimarchi. Alongside the afternoon Tattoo Contests, the public could witness acrobatic performances, fire shows, arm wrestling competitions, and the grand cosplay contest. The novelty of this edition was free entry for all cosplayers.
