The mai:rock Open Air is one of the most anticipated musical events in the Puster Valley each May: a free-entry open-air rock festival held on the Schulplatz (school square) in the heart of San Lorenzo di Sebato/St. Lorenzen, a town in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen, Trentino-Alto Adige. The event is organized by Verein Inso Haus eO, the association managing the local Inso Haus youth and cultural center, and has become a landmark for rock fans from across the Puster Valley and beyond.

An afternoon of live music for all ages

The concept behind mai:rock is simple and effective: combining live music with conviviality. The stage hosts a mix of emerging local bands from South Tyrol and guest groups, with a program spanning various shades of rock. Surrounding the stage are food and drink stalls, while the atmosphere remains relaxed and family-friendly: the festival is designed to welcome audiences of all ages, from the very young to families.

Beyond the concert lineup, mai:rock represents an important moment for the community life of Inso Haus, the youth center housed in a modern building on the edge of town, near the sports area, which also serves other local associations in the Puster Valley.
