About Longevity Festival Capalbio

The Longevity Festival kicks off its national touring circuit in Capalbio, in the province of Grosseto. Born from the International Institute of Neurobioethics (IINBE) following the Vatican Longevity Summit, the festival brings the debate on healthy, sustainable, and holistic longevity to Italian public squares. The first stage, held on June 12, 2026, in the Piazzetta di Palazzo Collacchioni, brings together voices from science, art, and law to discuss the brain, relationships, and well-being.

The Longevity Festival arrives in Capalbio

The Longevity Festival has chosen Capalbio, in the Maremma region of Grosseto, for its grand debut. Promoted by the International Institute of Neurobioethics (IINBE), the project was conceived following the success of the Vatican Longevity Summit with a clear objective: to take the scientific and bioethical debate on longevity out of academic halls and into the squares, among the people. The Municipality of Capalbio provides patronage and logistical support for the initiative, which is organized in collaboration with CCN Capalbio.

Healthy, sustainable, and holistic longevity

The festival addresses one of the central themes of our time: how to live longer and better. It is not just about adding years to life, but about ensuring the quality of life within those years. The project is inspired by the principles of the Ethical Charter on Healthy Aging and the Decalogue for Global Longevity accessible to all, documents developed during the Vatican Longevity Summit. In Capalbio, these principles become a dialogue open to the public, free and accessible to anyone who wishes to participate.

The village of Capalbio as a stage

The choice of Capalbio is no coincidence. The medieval village perched on the hills of the Maremma, in the province of Grosseto, has been a destination for intellectuals, artists, and figures of Italian culture for decades. The Piazzetta di Palazzo Collacchioni, the historic heart of the town, offers the ideal setting for a meeting that combines science, art, and ethical reflection under the Tuscan sky.

A tour across Italy

Capalbio is just the first stop on a wider journey. After the Tuscan appointment, the Longevity Festival continues to Capri on September 11, 2026, and concludes in Venice in the autumn. A traveling format that aims to root a new culture of longevity in local communities, built on relationships, beauty, and the spirit of giving. Capalbio, in the Tuscany Region, thus becomes the starting point for a reflection that concerns everyone.
