The Literary Tuesdays are the historic series of cultural meetings at the Sanremo Casino, in the province of Imperia, active since the post-war period. Each event brings an author, a journalist, an intellectual, or an artist to the stage, in a dialogue with the public that ranges from literature to current affairs, from history to art.
Great Narrators Under the Stars
During the spring-summer season, the series takes on an outdoor format, with meetings held in the external areas of the Casino: 'great narrators under the stars and with the scent of the sea,' as the organizers like to describe it. An atmosphere that combines the charm of the location with the quality of the guests.
A Cultural Hub
With decades of history, the Literary Tuesdays confirm the role of the Sanremo Casino as a cultural hub of the city, capable of attracting leading writers and thinkers and offering the public a rich and varied program. The series complements the city's summer music events.
Literary Tuesdays — edition 2026
The spring-summer 2026 season of the series includes 15 events from May to the end of August, with meetings moved to the outdoor spaces of the Sanremo Casino for the summer evenings.
The program brings together journalists, writers, and artists: among the announced guests are Mario Giordano, Gustavo Zagrebelsky, Serena Bortone, Marcello Veneziani, Maurizio De Giovanni, Andrea Vitali, and the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto.
