A free soundtrack for Lignano's summer

There is a simple and generous way in which Lignano Sabbiadoro welcomes its guests on summer evenings: live music, free, outdoors, a stone's throw from the sea. This is the spirit of the Lignano Summer Live Festival, the event promoted by Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni Spa in collaboration with the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, which distributes a series of free admission concerts throughout the warm months.

The events are divided between two pulsating hearts of the city: Piazza Marcello D'Olivo, the living room of Lignano Pineta in the famous spiral design by architect Marcello D'Olivo, and the Arena Alpe Adria in Sabbiadoro, the venue for large-scale events. The beauty of the formula is its variety: sophisticated jazz, author rock, pop, and tributes to the great legends of music history coexist on the same bill.

Music for everyone, free admission

The watchword is accessibility. All Summer Live concerts are free, without reservation, until capacity is reached: just show up on time and let yourself be enveloped by the evening breeze and the music. It is a choice that well reflects Lignano's vocation as a town that thrives on tourism and chooses to give its visitors moments of collective celebration, without barriers.

Over the years, the festival has brought names to the stage capable of satisfying very different audiences: from piano virtuosos like Stefano Bollani to legends of Italian song, up to tribute bands that fill squares with nostalgia and famous riffs.
