The premier off-road rally in the Canavese region, bringing Land Rover enthusiasts from across Europe to Levone
The Land Rover Club Levone Rally is the flagship event of Levone, a village in the Upper Canavese area of the Piedmont region. What began as a small gathering of enthusiasts has grown into one of the most important single-brand rallies dedicated to the British marque, now ranked among the top five Land Rover events in Europe. Every year in mid-March, the Canavese valleys fill with the iconic British 4x4s, with crews arriving from across Italy and abroad, particularly from Switzerland and France.
The heart of the rally lies in the off-road trails carved through the woods and paths surrounding Levone. Organizers offer routes for every level of experience:
The rally is about more than just splashing through puddles and climbing through mud. It is a major social event: the Saturday night Land Rover Driver's Dinner, Sunday lunch served in a heated marquee, the illuminated trial track with a DJ, and, in recent editions, an exhibition of historic vehicles that starred in the legendary Camel Trophy. The program also includes themed excursions, such as visits to the 'Witches' sites and the 'Cantina delle Masche' (Cellar of the Masche), highlighting the traditions and legends of the Canavese territory.
Organized by the Land Rover Club Levone with the support of the Municipality of Levone, the event is held under the patronage of the Piedmont Regional Council and the Metropolitan City of Turin. For two days, the small village hosts hundreds of crews, serving as a beacon for off-road enthusiasts while showcasing the scenic beauty of the Upper Canavese.
The 2026 edition was held on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, in Levone, in the province of Turin. The program included registration opening at 8:30 AM, followed by the briefing and departure for the tourist tour at 9:30 AM and the hard tour at 10:00 AM. Saturday afternoon featured a visit to the Witches' sites and the Cantina delle Masche, followed by the Land Rover Driver's Dinner at 8:00 PM and the illuminated trial track with a DJ at 10:00 PM.
Sunday continued with a tourist tour featuring hard variants, the Land Rover Driver's lunch, the daytime trial track with a DJ, and, in the late afternoon, the awards ceremony before the event's conclusion. The rain did not deter the enthusiasts: the track, designed to be accessible to all, made the trials even more spectacular.
Levone is located in the Upper Canavese, about 35 km north of Turin. By car, take the SP23 towards Rivarolo Canavese and follow signs for Levone; the nearest airport is Turin-Caselle. The nearest train station is in Rivarolo Canavese, on the Turin-Pont Canavese line.
Participation with your own vehicle requires registration via the form available on the official Land Rover Club Levone website. For the 'hard' routes, off-road equipment (mud-terrain tires, winch, protection, straps) is mandatory. Public access to the track and exhibition areas is generally free.
We recommend wearing clothing suitable for the cold and rainy March weather and waterproof footwear, as the rally takes place on muddy terrain. It is advisable to arrive early to watch the tour departures and soak up the village atmosphere.
