Italy's saddest indie party arrives on the shores of Lake Tenno
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the Parco Feste in the Pozza area, located on the shores of the picturesque Lake Tenno, will host the Lacrima Party for the first time—an unprecedented event for the local community. The evening is the result of a collaboration between youth associations TenNova - Giovani e Territorio and Guys4Guys, with the essential support of the Gruppo Alpini di Tenno. It brings the touring format known as "Italy's saddest indie party" to the municipality of Tenno, in the province of Trento.
Born in Bologna from an idea among friends and having grown into a nationwide phenomenon, the Lacrima Party is a massive DJ set built around the best of Italian indie, pop, and singer-songwriter music. The organizers describe it as an "emotional experience": a night designed for crying and dancing together to the most beloved tracks of the Italian scene. It is not a live concert, but a curated musical selection that revisits the songs that defined a generation, all within a participatory and liberating atmosphere.
Admission is completely free, and the program kicks off at 6:00 PM with the opening of food stalls, the bar, and the first DJ set. The official warm-up begins at 9:00 PM, while the main show starts at 11:00 PM and continues until late at night.
Throughout the evening, in addition to the music, there will be a make-up station, games, entertainment, a raffle with prizes, and official event merchandise. The stated goal is to combine fun and community in the exceptional natural setting of Lake Tenno, one of the most charming villages in Garda Trentino.
The evening takes place at the new Parco Feste in the Pozza area, a gathering space inaugurated during the 60th-anniversary celebrations of the Gruppo Alpini di Tenno and designed to host community events. The Lacrima Party thus kicks off the new season of open-air festivities on the lake shores, alongside other summer events in Tenno.
