La Spezia Outdoor is the event dedicated to sport and outdoor life that transforms the Ligurian capital into a large playground for active people every spring. For three days, Piazza Europa hosts the outdoor village, while activities and excursions spread throughout the city, by the sea, and in the surrounding hills.
Dozens of Disciplines to Try
The program is very rich: trekking, climbing, sailing, e-biking, rowing, snorkeling, fishing, but also adventure parks, rowing simulators, workshops for children, guided walks in the city and in nature, and environmental protection initiatives. An offer designed to be inclusive and suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
The Cinqueterre Granfondo
The sporting heart of the event is the Cinqueterre Granfondo, a cycling race that starts from Via Veneto and attracts thousands of participants, considered among the major Italian sporting events of the year. In the heart of the province of La Spezia, the gateway to the Cinque Terre, cycling meets one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy.
La Spezia Outdoor — edition 2026
The fifth edition of La Spezia Outdoor enlivens the Ligurian capital from April 24th to 26th, 2026, with the outdoor village in Piazza Europa open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and dozens of activities spread between the city, the sea, and the hills.
Among the many offerings: trekking, climbing, sailing, e-biking, rowing, snorkeling, adventure parks, rowing simulators, military sailing demonstrations, cycling road safety courses, workshops for children, and environmental protection initiatives. On Sunday, April 26th, the Cinqueterre Granfondo starts from Via Veneto.
