Well-being, personal growth, and a love for nature at Parco dello Gnekko
L'Albero dei Talenti is a day dedicated to well-being, personal growth, and respect for Nature, hosted at Parco dello Gnekko in Gabiano, a small town nestled in the hills of the Monferrato Casalese, in the province of Alessandria (Piedmont). The event was born from the collaboration between the Lumax personal growth path and the Lo Gnekko OdV ETS association, which has spent years transforming this green corner into an oasis of biodiversity.
Parco dello Gnekko is an environmental and naturalistic project spanning over three hectares of hills reclaimed since 2016. Over the years, more than four hundred plants and over fifty tree varieties have been planted, creating a habitat that hosts birds, small mammals, and an increasingly rich fauna. Managed entirely by volunteers, the park is now a constantly expanding biological island where participants can even bring their own plant to grow alongside the more than four hundred and fifty already present.
The heart of the event is an invitation to pause and rediscover your talents through simple personal growth methods and moments of introspection. The day alternates between wellness activities, inner growth meetings, and symbolic gestures of gratitude toward Nature. A highlight is the 'Adopt a Tree' initiative: with a small donation, you can give a nickname to a tree in the park, contributing to its care and leaving a tangible mark of your visit.
Participation, exhibitions, presentations, and on-site parking are all free: L'Albero dei Talenti aims to be an accessible occasion for families, curious visitors, and nature and wellness enthusiasts. Throughout the day, there is also a reuse and barter market, designed for swapping items without the use of money, in the spirit of sustainability that drives the entire Parco dello Gnekko project in Gabiano.
