Every year, in the heart of September, the Molfetta harbor (Metropolitan City of Bari, Puglia) welcomes hundreds of bikers from all over Italy for a weekend that blends a passion for two wheels, local exploration, and fine food. The event is organized by Motoclub Molfetta ASD, a historic local association that brings enthusiasts of all ages together at the Molo San Domenico.

The L.A.S.E. Angels is more than just a party: it is an official event for the Italian National Selective Mototourism Championship of the Italian Motorcycling Federation (FMI). This status makes it a popular destination for motorcycle clubs from across the peninsula, who bring their riders to Molfetta to earn points in the standings. Recent editions have seen hundreds of FMI-registered riders and even more overall participants, creating a constant buzz of motorcycles along the quay.
Scenic tours between the sea and the hinterland
The typical program features guided scenic tours that lead bikers to discover the surroundings: from the Pulo di Molfetta, a spectacular karst sinkhole at the city gates, to the Murgia hinterland, with stops at local sanctuaries and cooperative wineries. It is the rally's way of showcasing Puglia to visitors, combining group riding with landscape discovery.
The Fish Festival and evening party
The social heart of the event is the Fried Fish Festival, held on the Molo San Domenico: freshly fried Adriatic fish served directly at the harbor as evening falls. The dinner then turns into a party with live music, DJ sets, and entertainment that continues until late at night, in an atmosphere where bikers mingle with locals and curious visitors alike.
The Sunday of the helmets
The second day takes on a more ceremonial tone, with the blessing of the helmets, a guided tour of Molfetta's historic center, and the motorcycle parade through the city streets, followed by final awards for the largest clubs and the riders who traveled the furthest. There is also a charitable component: over the years, the rally has hosted cardiopulmonary resuscitation demonstrations and community donation projects.

How to get there
By car/motorcycle: Take the A14 motorway, exit at Molfetta, then follow signs for the city center and the harbor. By train: Molfetta station is on the Adriatic line, just a few minutes' walk from the harbor.
Tips
The Fish Festival is open to the general public. To participate in the rally as a rider, you must register through the Motoclub Molfetta; it is advisable to inquire in advance about FMI membership and registration procedures.
