Jova Summer Party arrives in Palermo

Following the years of the Jova Beach Party and the indoor interlude of the PalaJova 2025, Lorenzo Jovanotti is relaunching the Italian summer with a new travelling format: the Jova Summer Party, encapsulated in the L'Arca di Lorè project. In the summer of 2026, the festival visits areas of the South that were left out of the arena tour, with a route stretching from Sardinia to Abruzzo, passing through Puglia, Calabria, Campania, and Sicily, where Lorenzo returns eight years after his last visit. In Palermo, the event takes place at the Ippodromo La Favorita, in the heart of the Piana dei Colli, with two consecutive dates: Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th, 2026.

A full day of celebration

The Jova Summer Party is not designed as a traditional concert but as a true day-long celebration. Gates open in the early afternoon (3:00 PM) and the show kicks off at 4:30 PM: from the very first hours, artists and guests representing the different souls of the project take turns on stage, in the spirit of cross-pollination between musical genres, vitality, and freedom of expression. Lorenzo's actual concert is the beating heart of a broader experience, made of new music, dancing, smiles, and encounters.

L'Arca di Lorè and the band

On stage, Jovanotti is accompanied by his long-standing band: Saturnino on bass, by Lorenzo's side for over thirty years, Adriano Viterbini on guitar, Christian Rigano and Franco Santarnecchi on keyboards, Carmine Landolfi on drums, a large backing vocal section, and a brass section created by Gianluca Petrella. L'Arca di Lorè is described as an ark that gathers people, energy, and sounds, transforming every stop into a unique and unrepeatable day.

The guests of the two Palermo evenings

Enriching the two dates at the Ippodromo La Favorita is a long list of guests. Jimmy Sax is the guest star of both evenings, opening with his most famous tracks before joining Lorenzo on stage. Announced artists include Albert Marzinotto, Ana Carla Maza, Venerus, Sissi, Santamarea, the live DJ set by Fresco & Ali Selecta, and I Tarantolati di Tricarico for the August 29th date; on August 30th, Albert Marzinotto and Venerus return alongside Sam Galbi, Eva Bloo, and numerous surprise guests.

A landmark event for Sicily

Jovanotti's return to Sicily, and specifically to the capital Palermo, in the province of Palermo, is one of the most anticipated events of the island's musical summer. The Ippodromo La Favorita, at the foot of Monte Pellegrino, is transformed for the occasion into a large festival space capable of combining the power of a concert with the free atmosphere of a festival. Both Palermo dates sold out within weeks of the announcement.
