A Castle That Becomes a School of Magic

In the heart of summer, Thiene Castle — a splendid example of 15th-century Venetian Gothic architecture, also known as Palazzo Colleoni Porto — transforms into a true Italian School of Magic. The initiative, set in Thiene in the province of Vicenza, is an interactive and immersive experience clearly inspired by the universe of Hogwarts and the great fantasy sagas.

How It Works

Participants receive the admission letter to the School and spend an entire weekend at the castle as young aspiring wizards. They are assigned to four different houses and take part in three days of challenges, tests, and spells. Those who have attended previous editions can continue their studies and earn the title of apprentice wizard.

Who It's For

The experience is dedicated to children and teenagers aged 6 to 13: it's not a passive show, but an active involvement that makes them the protagonists. They are guided by 25 professional actors, theater performers, and set designers from the Caraval Spettacoli association, who bring the manor to life with costumes, sets, and characters.

Areas Normally Closed to the Public

One of the event's highlights is access to areas of the castle usually not open for visits: the ancient kitchens, the Renaissance dungeons, and the historic halls serve as a natural backdrop for the adventure, offering young wizards an authentic and evocative atmosphere in the heart of Alto Vicentino.
