Swing in the Green Heart of Italy
The Interamna Swing Festival is the only festival entirely dedicated to swing music and dances in Umbria. The name recalls Interamna, the ancient Roman name for Terni, and perfectly summarizes the spirit of the event: bringing swing culture to the 'green heart of Italy'. Organized by the association The Swing Club, the festival is a reference point for dancers from all over the peninsula.
Three Days of Music and Dance
The program is divided into three days packed with activities: classes with international instructors, concerts with live swing bands, DJ sets, talks, and social moments. The disciplines at the center are Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Balboa, and Solo Jazz, danced by both beginners and experts in an inclusive and festive atmosphere.
An Exceptional Venue
The festival takes place at the large Accademia Musicale of Terni, on Via Giacomo Benucci in the Maratta area: a facility with thousands of square meters featuring multifunctional and theatrical rooms, as well as ample indoor and outdoor spaces. The event attracts artists and participants from various European countries, confirming Terni as an original and welcoming stop on the swing festival circuit, in the province of Terni.
Interamna Swing — edition 2026
The 2nd edition of the Interamna Swing Festival was held from May 15th to 17th, 2026, in the large Accademia Musicale of Terni (Maratta area), with 2000 sqm indoors and 2000 sqm outdoors available to dancers and enthusiasts.
The program brought together five couples of instructors, international and national, three live bands, and several DJ sets, covering all major swing disciplines: Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Balboa, and Solo Jazz. International participation brought dancers from England, France, Cyprus, and Denmark to Terni. Organization by The Swing Club.
