The major international event dedicated to training, human resources, and innovation, featuring the EdTech and HRTech Startup Showcase.
The Innovation Training Summit is the premier appointment in Italy for professionals working in training, human resources, and skills development. Organized by Ecosistema Formazione Italia (EFI), the summit brings together institutions, companies, universities, research centers, and startups in Rome, in the heart of the EUR district, for two days of discussion on the future of work and learning. The event is held at the Auditorium della Tecnica, one of the capital's main congress centers, attracting thousands of professionals from across the country.
The format features a structure spread across four stages, two workshop rooms, and large exhibition areas. Attendees can follow keynotes, panel discussions, round tables, and practical sessions dedicated to the sector's major themes: from generative artificial intelligence to augmented reality, from corporate wellbeing to new teaching methodologies like microlearning and social learning, as well as business development and leadership. The Stati Generali della Formazione, structured ninety-minute workshops, address topics such as skill gaps, digital learning, corporate academies, AI adoption, and decision-making complexity.
The innovative heart of the event is the Startup Showcase, a competitive window that selects twelve EdTech and HRTech startups and brings them to the main stage to present their solutions before a jury of experts, investors, and institutional representatives. The finalists, divided into early-stage and late-stage categories, compete for awards and special mentions in a moment that combines networking, technological scouting, and visibility for the innovation ecosystem.
With over 250 speakers, thousands of expected attendees, and more than 150 media and community partners, the Innovation Training Summit has established itself as one of the leading platforms in the sector in Italy. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and features the participation of major national companies and training institutions.
The choice of Rome and the EUR district is no coincidence: the capital, in the Lazio region, offers an ideal institutional and infrastructural context for an event aiming to create a system between the public, private, and research sectors. The summit thus also represents an opportunity to experience the city, with an opening Welcome Night and numerous social and networking moments designed to foster relationships and new collaborations.
The 2026 edition brought the Auditorium della Tecnica in Rome to life on March 26 and 27, with an inaugural Welcome Night on March 25 at the new Link University campus. Among the novelties, the 'Top School Italia' Award dedicated to excellence in training. The summit brought together over 250 speakers and thousands of participants, under the patronage of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
