The Music of the Santa Cecilia Foundation
The Santa Cecilia Musical Foundation is one of the most important cultural institutions in Portogruaro, in the Province of Venice, also known for its prestigious International Music Festival. Among its initiatives, the Incontri Musicali series dedicates a series of concerts, generally between March and June, to promoting students and young musicians.
A Series Spread Across the Territory
The events take place in multiple venues in Eastern Veneto and nearby areas: the Foyer della Magnolia of the Foundation in Portogruaro, but also Oderzo, Castagnole, Latisana, and Conegliano. A network that connects different music schools and institutions, offering young performers real stages in front of an audience.
Free Concerts and Education
All events are free entry and range across different repertoires and ensembles, from violin to harp, from chamber music to recitals by partner institutions. It is a series that combines educational and concert dimensions, supporting the growth of young talents.
In the Cultural Heart of Portogruaro
Promoted by the Santa Cecilia Musical Foundation with the support of the Municipality of Portogruaro, the Incontri Musicali series confirms the role of the city on the Lemene river as a reference point for musical culture in Eastern Veneto.
Incontri Musicali — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Incontri Musicali features eight free-entry concerts between March and June, resulting from the collaboration between the Santa Cecilia Musical Foundation and various music schools and institutions in the area.
The events involve Portogruaro (Foyer della Magnolia), Oderzo, Castagnole, Latisana, and Conegliano, highlighting the students and young performers from partner schools, in a journey that combines education and performance.

How to get there
Portogruaro is reachable by train (Portogruaro-Caorle station) and by car via the A4 motorway, Portogruaro exit. The events in Portogruaro are held at the Foyer della Magnolia of the Santa Cecilia Foundation and in other city venues; other concerts take place in Oderzo, Castagnole, Latisana, and Conegliano.
