Murals and urban art for an open-air museum by the sea
The Caorle Sea Festival is the event that brings international street art to the alleys and walls of Caorle, a charming seaside resort in the province of Venice. Artists from various countries create large murals that transform the city into a true open-air museum, to be admired while strolling through the historic center and along the coast.
The festival links the artworks to the territory: the recurring theme is the sea, fishing, and traditions of Caorle, an ancient fishing village. The paintings, created also with eco-sustainable paints, tell the story of the city's maritime identity and enhance its landscape and natural riches.
In addition to the creation of murals, the Caorle Sea Festival offers side events dedicated to marine conservation and environmental sustainability. An initiative that combines urban art, space regeneration, and awareness-raising, making Caorle a reference point for street art on the Veneto coast.
The 3rd edition of the Caorle Sea Festival is scheduled from May 23 to June 7, 2026, in Caorle (Venice). 17 international street artists will create 20 murals on the city's public and private walls, bringing to life a large open-air museum dedicated to the relationship between Caorle and its sea.
Over two weeks (May 23 – June 7, 2026), artists will create works live, accompanied by side events:
The list of artists and the map of the artworks are available on the official website caorleseafestival.it.
Caorle (VE) can be reached by car from the A4 motorway (exit Santo Stino di Livenza/Portogruaro) and by bus; the nearest train station is Portogruaro-Caorle. The murals are spread throughout the city center and can be visited freely.
