A festival dedicated to books

Inchiostro is the literary festival of Crema, an event that every summer brings together writers, readers, critics, essayists, and publishers for three days of meetings, presentations, and dialogues about books. The setting is the evocative atmosphere of the cloisters of the Sant'Agostino complex, in the heart of the city, in the province of Cremona, which becomes an ideal place for the pleasure of reading and conversation.

Space for independent publishing

One of Inchiostro's distinctive features is its focus on small and medium-sized independent publishing: alongside the authors, the festival hosts a publishing fair that gives visibility to lesser-known publishing houses, offering visitors the chance to discover titles and voices outside the more commercial circuits. It is a festival of readers, authors, and publishers that brings together all facets of the book world.

Meetings, debates, and training

The program alternates book presentations, round tables, debates, and training sessions, with a different theme serving as the common thread for each edition. The meetings involve authors and protagonists of the cultural scene, in an informal and accessible atmosphere that invites the public to participate actively.

Free culture for the city

Promoted by the Municipality of Crema with the Civic Library and local cultural organizations, Inchiostro is a free admission festival, conceived as a gift to the city and to book lovers. Among the cloisters of Sant'Agostino, Crema's summer is enriched by an event that celebrates reading as a tool for growth and connection.
