Concerts on the meadows and in the soul-stirring places of the RisorgiMarche music festival
IncantoMarche is much more than a music review: it is a collective gesture of rebirth. The festival stems from RisorgiMarche, the initiative conceived in 2016 by actor and musician Neri Marcorè to bring "people, attention, and life" back to the Marche hinterland territories devastated by the earthquake. The formula is simple and powerful: no stages, but landscapes. The concerts are held in the midst of nature, on high-altitude meadows, at the foot of mountains, or in historic villages, and the audience reaches them by walking. The artistic direction is entrusted to Neri Marcorè, assisted by Giambattista Tofoni.
The municipality of San Severino Marche, in the heart of the province of Macerata, is one of the locations most closely associated with the festival: it is here, on the meadows of Castel San Pietro, that the review has experienced some of its most exciting opening nights. The town of Setto, with its hilly landscape and its soul-stirring places, offers two ideal settings for the IncantoMarche experience.
The 2026 edition confirms two events in San Severino Marche: the first on Friday, July 3rd at Castel San Pietro, the panoramic hill overlooking the Potenza valley that has always welcomed the festival's audience; the second on Thursday, July 30th at the Convent of San Salvatore in Colpersito, a charming monastic complex nestled in the greenery on the outskirts of the city. Both stops are part of the "Summer Time 2026" summer program promoted by the Municipality of San Severino Marche.
2026 marks ten years since the earthquake that severely hit central Apennines in 2016: for IncantoMarche, this is an edition with strong symbolic value, renewing the original mission to bring music and attention to places "marked but not defeated". The festival defines itself as "solidary, inclusive, and eco-sustainable", values that translate into attention to the environment, accessibility, and local communities.
Participating in a stop of IncantoMarche in San Severino Marche means combining music with the experience of walking: the concert venues are reached by walking short distances, immersed in the landscapes of the Marche hinterland. It is an invitation to discover hidden corners of the territory and to contribute, with your presence, to the rebirth of these lands. Comfortable clothing, suitable shoes, and a blanket or cushion for sitting on the grass are recommended.
In 2026, IncantoMarche confirms its historic connection with San Severino Marche by scheduling two events: July 3rd on the meadows of Castel San Pietro and July 30th at the Convent of San Salvatore in Colpersito. This is the tenth anniversary edition of the 2016 earthquake and maintains the formula that made the review famous: no stages but landscapes, concerts reached by walking, and a strong solidarity and sustainability focus. The Setto stops are part of the "Summer Time 2026" summer program by the Municipality of San Severino Marche.
The dates for the two Setto stops are official (Summer Time 2026 program by the Municipality and website incantomarche.it), but the detailed artistic program for the evenings in San Severino Marche — with the names of the guests and precise times — has not yet been published. It will be announced on the festival's official channels in the weeks preceding the events.
IncantoMarche 2026 is spread across numerous stops throughout the Marche region, with artistic direction by Neri Marcorè and Giambattista Tofoni. Among the events already announced elsewhere are concerts by Filippo Graziani (Mogliano), Frida Bollani Magoni (Tolentino), Emma Nolde (Castelleone di Suasa), Joan Thiele (Arcevia), and I Patagarri (Sefro). As is tradition, concerts are held in natural spaces and are reachable on foot.
The 2026 edition of IncantoMarche features two events in San Severino Marche (MC): Friday, July 3rd, 2026, at Castel San Pietro, and Thursday, July 30th, 2026, at the Convent of San Salvatore in Colpersito. These stops are part of the "Summer Time 2026" program by the Municipality of San Severino Marche.
San Severino Marche is located in the hinterland of the province of Macerata. Castel San Pietro is a panoramic hill reachable from the city; the Convent of San Salvatore in Colpersito is located just outside the town. The concert venues are partially reached on foot: comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for a light walk are recommended.
The concerts are held outdoors, on meadows and in natural spaces: bring a blanket or cushion to sit on. Check the start time (usually late afternoon) on the official channels before you leave.
The program, schedules, and access details for the events in Setto are published on the official website incantomarche.it and on the channels of the Municipality of San Severino Marche (tel. +39 0733 6411).
