Outdoor Lake Festival on the shores of Lake Fiastra, in the Monti Sibillini National Park
Fiastrapalooza is the new Outdoor Lake Festival in the Monti Sibillini National Park, taking place from June 26 to 28, 2026 on the shores of Lake Fiastra, in the municipality of Fiastra, province of Macerata, in the Marche region. It's not a festival with a single large stage: it's a path of diffused arts that winds through the hamlet of San Lorenzo al Lago, the inlets of the basin, the ruins of the Magalotti castle, and the villages of the valley, immersed in woods and mountains.
The event is designed by the group La Catasta together with the Municipality of Fiastra and is realized with the contribution of the Piano Nazionale Complementare โ Next Appennino, the instrument dedicated to the rebirth of the central Apennine areas affected by the earthquakes of 2009 and 2016. Fiastrapalooza is thus born with a dual mission: to offer high-profile culture and to strengthen the tourist appeal of a corner of the Sibillini already loved by those seeking the lake, nature, and silence.
The musical heart of the first edition ranges from analog electronics to historic Italian reggae. On Friday, June 26, at the Magalotti castle, Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, the Texan composers of the Stranger Things soundtrack, take the stage for what is announced as their only Italian date, with analog synthesizers and immersive light design. On Saturday, June 27, at the Lake Arena in Campo dei Pini, it's the turn of the jazz-funk of Bassolino, the pioneers of Italian reggae Africa Unite, and the dub set of Madaski. On Sunday, June 28, it's up to Iosonouncane and a long sequence of DJ sets along the shores and in the woods.
Around the music revolves a multidisciplinary program designed to experience the lake 360 degrees:
Born to give new energy to a valley that has managed to rise again after the earthquake, Fiastrapalooza is a young and ambitious festival that intertwines contemporary culture, the landscape of the Monti Sibillini, and the identity of the community of Fiastra.
The inaugural edition of Fiastrapalooza (June 26โ28, 2026) inaugurates a new model of lake festival in the Monti Sibillini National Park: no single stage, but a path of diffused arts between San Lorenzo al Lago, the bays of the basin, and the Magalotti castle, in the Municipality of Fiastra (Macerata). Produced by the group La Catasta with the Municipality of Fiastra thanks to the Piano Nazionale Complementare โ Next Appennino, the event combines major international and Italian music acts with nature activities.
Detailed schedules and the complete agenda of outdoor activities are published on the official website fiastrapalooza.it.
