Thirty years of young music
The Gubbstock Festival is one of the most beloved musical events for young people and enthusiasts in Gubbio. Organized by the Gubbio Municipality's Youth Information Office, with the support of volunteers from the Universal Civil Service, it is a festival dedicated to the rock-pop scene and emerging bands.
A stage for emerging artists
The format focuses on young musicians: each year, a selection of musical projects is chosen through a public call for applications, prioritizing artists under 30, local musicians, and those who propose original songs. Alongside emerging artists, the festival often hosts national names as well, creating a bridge between established and new talent.
The Roman Theatre as a backdrop
The setting is exceptional: the Roman Theatre of Gubbio, a Roman-era archaeological site at the foot of the historic center, becomes the natural stage for the festival. Free admission makes it an event open to all, a symbol of the Municipality's commitment to youth culture in the province of Perugia.
Gubbstock — edition 2026
The 33rd edition of the Gubbstock Festival is scheduled for July 15-16, 2026, at the Roman Theatre of Gubbio. The rock-pop formula with free admission is confirmed, featuring young emerging bands selected through a public call for applications (application deadline: June 3, 2026), managed by the Municipality's Youth Information Office with the support of Universal Civil Service volunteers. The selection prioritizes artists under 30, local musicians, and those proposing original compositions.

The 2026 edition unfolds over two evenings, July 15 and 16, at the Roman Theatre of Gubbio. The program is built around the musical projects selected through the public call for applications (deadline: June 3, 2026).
Currently, the names of the bands and any guests for 2026 have not yet been announced: the lineup is finalized after the selection process closes. How to get there
Gubbio can be reached by car from the E45 or by bus from Perugia and Fossato di Vico. The Roman Theatre is located just outside the walls of the historic center.
