The Passatempo Grill Festival

The Grill Festival is one of the most cherished gastronomic events of the Osimo summer. It takes place in the hamlet of Passatempo, on the outskirts of the Municipality of Osimo, in the province of Ancona, in the heart of the Marche region. For three days, the event enlivens the village's sports field, which for the occasion transforms into a large outdoor convivial area, with tables, food stands, and space for music and dancing.

Grilled Meat, the Absolute Star

As the name suggests, the highlight of the festival is grilled meat: sausages, ribs, chops, and specialties cooked over embers and served hot directly to guests. The food stand offers the simple and genuine flavors of the Marche peasant tradition, at popular prices, in an informal and family atmosphere. There's also artisan ice cream, perfect for finishing dinner on summer evenings.

Popular Games and Dancing Evenings

The Grill Festival is not just about good food. The program includes popular games and entertainment moments that involve adults and children, and especially dancing evenings with an orchestra, the true pulsating heart of the festival: live music and ballroom dancing bring entire generations to the dance floor, keeping alive a tradition of social life typical of village festivals in the province of Ancona.

A Community Celebration

Organized by the local committee of the Passatempo hamlet with the patronage of the Municipality of Osimo, the festival is part of the rich calendar of Osimo feasts and festivals that, from June to October, animate the various hamlets of the city. More than just a gastronomic event, the Grill Festival represents an opportunity for the Passatempo community and for the many visitors who reach Osimo each year to rediscover the flavors and hospitality of the Marche.

When it takes place

The 2026 edition is scheduled from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2026, according to the official festival calendar approved by the Municipality of Osimo. Entry to the festival area is free; you only pay for what you consume at the food stands.
